Mary O'Brien |
My
twin brother and I were born in Trinidad, the last of six kids. My
father was an entrepreneur, owning his own insurance firm. Leaving
my family behind, I came to Florida in October 1982 to seek my
fortune. After running out of money in January 1983 I decided to
find a job.
The
day I started working in the mortgage business I knew I had found my
vocation. I started my own company, O’Brien Financial Group,
Inc. in 1997. Our business has grown with careful attention to
our customers and to building a team of people I love and who make
me very proud. |

I am originally from
the state of Connecticut. I have a finance background with over 14
years of bank and mortgage experience. |

Marcus A. Ferrara |
Although born in
Staten Island NY, I have called Ft. Lauderdale home for over 15 years and can’t imagine living anywhere else. I attended college at the University of Florida and earned my degree in Elementary Education . For over 7 years I have taught kindergarten and truly love making a difference in each child’s life. Seemingly dissimilar from teaching
is the mortgage business, although I have a different philosophy. I believe home ownership can be the pinnacle of success and/or one of the fundamentals of life for many people and helping them achieve that goal can be just as rewarding as education. Working with such a talented and reputable group of individuals is truly an honor.

William Corey
|
I was been born and
raised on a dairy farm in Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania. Learning
value of hard work and having many responsibilities, I knew there
had to be a better way to earn a living. I packed up and moved to
Florida in 1983 to continue my education in the aviation industry. I
found my niche’ in the Real Estate business as a Real Estate agent
now going into my 17th year, and then as a mortgage
broker. I
chose to work at O’Brien Financial Group, after having
a closing with Mary. She was honest, knowledgeable, and quite
honestly could provide a better interest rate to the purchaser than
I was able to obtain through another office. Along with a great
support staff, I know I made the right decision. Allow me to help

Karen Scotti |
Karen
is a licensed Mortgage Broker in the State of Florida, for
O'Brien Financial Group. She earned her doctorate and for
21 years worked as a successful healthcare practitioner.
In 1999 Karen received her MBA, with an area of
concentration in Financial Operations and Management.
With her combined degrees she has managed million dollar
specialty practices and served as a consultant. She has
authored several comprehensive manuals encompassing
financial operations, policies and procedures. Using
software technology, Karen has done extensive research for
financial development and prides herself on problem
solving for Niche market customers. Whether it is a
portfolio product, variable arm, emerging market programs,
home equity or opportunities for investors; assessing
customer needs and placing her clients in the right
product enhances Karen's overall Asset Management
Program.
Karen
is a native New Yorker, with an extensive Business and
Financial background. Several years ago she relocated to
the State of Florida were she uses her New York work
ethics combined with her Business, Sales, and Technology
savvy. A Master for detail, Karen takes great pride in
assisting her clients financial “CONTRACT TO CLOSE.”
